NORFOLK - Harold Hurwitz, 41, son of Mrs. Sarah Block Hurwitz, and the late
Joseph Allen Hurwitz, died Wednesday in a Norfolk hospital.
He was a merchant and life-long resident of Norfolk, lately living at 141 West
Evans St.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Temple Israel, Atlantic
Masonic Lodge 2, and Khedive Shrine Temple.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Helen Silbert of
Augusta, GA, and Mrs. Joyce Robbins of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts by
Rabbi Joseph Goldman of Temple Israel. Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
