Mamie Florence Davis, 91, of Rivesville, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born July 20, 1909, in Sabraton, daughter of the late Joshua Perry and Bertha Blanche Wolfe Hoskins.
She was a homemaker, a member of Arnettsville United Methodist Church and Ladies Aide at Arnettsville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sons and spouses, William "Edgar" and Kathern Davis, of Pleasant View, Wayne "Leroy" and Lila Davis, of Arcadia, Fla., and Howard Ray Davis, of Cleveland; a daughter and spouse, Arbutus "Boots" and Cecil Miller of Streetsboro, Ohio; a son-in-law, Junior Frymyer, of Arnettsville; a brother, Issac Hoskins, of Crystal Lake, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Murrlen Davis; two sons, Robert Davis and Kenneth Davis; a daughter, Wilma Jean Frymyer; a brother, Roy Hoskins; a sister, Martha Belle Lazzelle; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, with the Rev. Ernest Frymyer officiating. Burial will follow at Arnettsville Cemetery
