DAPHNE, Ala. | Mrs. Josephine Edwards Westbrook, born May 13, 1931, passed away peacefully at her home in Daphne AL on September 23, 2005, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a member of the Foley United Methodist Church and a blessing to all who met her. Jo and Bob, her husband of 56 years, retired to Elberta, AL several years ago, where they shared many happy days with family, pets, and friends, enjoying the beautiful sunsets over Wolf Bay. For more than 30 years, she and Bob worked side-by-side running a successful business in Tuscaloosa.
In addition to her husband, Jo is survived by her daughter and her husband; grandsons, sister and her husband, her beloved doggie, Sonny, and a host of relatives and friends she inspired and loved. We all miss her visible and vibrant presence. She will always live in our hearts.
The family greatly appreciates the kindness and expertise of Wiregrass Hospice, and of sitter, Lillie Mickles of Home Relief of Daphne, AL.
Family and friends will say goodbye to Jo with private sunset sail on Perdido Bay. A memorial service in Tuscaloosa will be conducted at a later date with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider directing.
