Charles Riordan 1924 - 2007
A funeral Mass for Charles Riordan, 83, Roeland Park, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Roeland Park. Private family graveside services will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Riordan died Tuesday, June 5, 2007.
He was born Feb. 3, 1924, in Charles City, Iowa. He lived in the Kansas City area most of his life.
Mr. Riordan served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot during World War II. He worked as a salesman and was president and chairman of Hicks-Ashby Co. of Lenexa.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Evelyn; three sons, Terry, of Lawrence, Tim and Kevin; three daughters, Kathy Olvera, Seana Vissotzky and Moira Newbanks; 17 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, where a rosary will be said.
The family suggests memorials to Kansas City Hospice, sent in care of the Cremation Society of Kansas and Missouri, 8837 Roe Ave., Prairie Village 66207.
