Clara Arnim, who was murdered on Tuesday afternoon by her lover, Paul Genz, was buried yesterday in Cypress Hills Cemetery. Brief funeral services were conducted by Rabbi Loewy.

Bernard Stenzel, to whom Clara was engaged to be married, and who was the chief cause of Genz's jealousy, returned to Hoboken on Thursday night. He had lost his place in Chicago, and being unable to get another one, decided to return home. Stenzel had to walk much of the way. When he reached Hoboken, he was tired, travel-stained, and hungry. He went at once to the house where Clara had lived and up to the room in which she was murdered. He had not heard of the tragedy. He knocked timidly at the door. There was no response. Then he knocked vigorously. There was no response, and he went out again and made his way to Schmidt's barber shop at 107 Hudson street. "Have you seen anything of Clara?" he asked Schmidt. "Why, she is dead," he answered. "Haven't you heard about it?" "Dead!" exclaimed Stenzel. "Dead! When did she die?" "Paul Genz killed her Tuesday afternoon, and her body is at the Morgue," answered Schmidt. Stenzel fainted and fell on the floor. When he revived he went to the Morgue, but the girl's body had been taken away by her relatives for burial. Stenzel went to the Hansa Hotel and heard the story of the murder from Mr. Stroesch, the proprietor. Mr. Stroesch gave him his supper and a room. Stenzel said yesterday that Genz remarked, just before Stenzel went away on his last trip, "Clara loves you more than she does me."
