September 3, 1931- February 7, 2017
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Tabor Manor, St. Catharines at the age of 85. He is survived by his children Mary Ann (Lou) Sider, Diane (Brian) Sherman, Christopher (Tammy), Darlene (Gabe) Bernardi and Timothy (Dorothy), 13 grandchildren ,6 great-grandchildren and 2 more on the way and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Daniel and Ann (Boyuk), brothers William, Peter (Espanola) and sisters Julie Goddard, Ann Labelle and Mary Olga Udut. Michael was the last sibling to meet with the Lord.
He worked and retired from (Hayes) Dana in Thorold, Ontario. Many thank yous go out to the staff in the Dialysis Dept. and Walker Family Cancer Clinic at the St. Catharines General Hospital, Red Cross drivers, Spectrum and Paratransit and Niagara Gardens Retirement and staff and Tabor Manor for their caring and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends are welcomed to join the family at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday February 15th at 11:00 a.m for a graveside interment service. Following the service everyone is invited to Manhattan Bar and Grill at 405 Vine St. Remembrances to the Dialysis Unit at the St. Catharines Site would be appreciated by the family.
