Passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital on January 1, 1999.

Vladimir was predeceased by his mother and father.

He is survived by his beloved wife; four daughters and their families, including many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with a brother and a sister and their families.

Vladimir worked at Canada Cement Lefarge for 35 years as a Dragline Operator. He enjoyed fishing and playing his violin, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral service (was) held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. on Wednesday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior. Interment in Garden of the Old Rugged Cross, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank Art, Donald, Rudy, Larry and Cel from Home Care for the excellent care given to Vladimir over the last three years; Bridget from Home Care and special thanks to his coordinators, Tania, Helen and Janie.

Donations in Vladimir's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3B 2H8.
