CREWS PROBE BEAR LAKE FOR S.L. DUO
Garden City, Rich County - The search continued Friday for two Salt Lake City men feared drowned on Bear Lake.
Bear Lake Marina State Park officials said the search began at noon Friday after it was halted late Thursday night. Missing are Rulon Dennison Jr. and Fred Aguilar, both 24, from Salt Lake City.
The two men went sailing Sunday afternoon. A search began Sunday evening after it was reported that a sailboat was in trouble on the lake. Nothing was found so officials called off the search.
Tuesday the pair's 14 foot sail boat was found capsized. Air and surface craft have been used in the search. Marina officials said that the parents of Rulon Dennison had been away from home and were unaware of the accident until reached by officials Friday.
