Edward Carter, Sr., 80, passed away August 28, 2018 in Chattanooga.
He retired from Kraft-Heinz after 21 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Enis and Rose Alice Carter; son, Edward Carter, Jr.
Survivors include his daughter, Derothera Carter; sons, LeBron Carter, Tyrone (Cornelia) Carter, Alvin (Gwen) Wright; stepchildren, Linda Twittey, David, Larry, Theodore and Eric, all of Chattanooga.
The body will lie in state Wednesday, September 5, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am in the chapel. The family will receive friends at 12:00 noon, and the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.
Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.
