Marie Sneed Maney, 89 of Tsali Care Center, Cherokee, died Monday, May 7, 2007.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10 at Cam Sneed Family Cemetery, with the Rev. Percy Cunningham and Ray Kinsland officiating.
She was a daughter of the late James Campbell Sneed and Minda Bradley Sneed. She was a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church, where she served at a Sunday school teacher, and was also active in VOC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shufford K. Maney; three sons, Perry, Kenny and "Joe" Sneed; three sisters, Pokie Sneed, Claudia Seay and Winifred Tiger; and two brothers, Vernon and Patrick Sneed.
Surviving are three sisters, Carie Robinson, Virginia Dixon and Priscilla Cooper, all of Cherokee; and one brother, Ernest Sneed of Cherokee.
