COHOES Therese H. (Jourdanais) Gorleski Kuber, 85, died peacefully Saturday, October 20, 2012 at her home with her family at her side. Born in Cohoes on December 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George and Eva Thibodeau Jourdanais. She was the wife of the late Frank Gorleski, Sr. who died in 1975 and Stephen F. Kuber, Sr. who died in 1995. Therese was a lifelong resident of Cohoes and graduated from St. Agnes School. She was employed in the meat department of the former Albany Public Market in Latham as a meat wrapper for 20 years before retiring. She was a Cub Scout den mother at St. Joseph's Church in Cohoes. She was a communicant of the Holy Trinity Parish in Cohoes and was a member of the 55'ers Club. She was a spinner at the Saratoga Race Track every August and she was an avid bowler. She frequently traveled to Buffalo and California to visit family. She is the beloved mother of Eva M. (David) Huneau-Shaughnessy, Francis J. (Marjorie) Gorleski Jr., John T. (Linda) Gorleski, Donna J. (David Curtis) Keefer, Lorraine R. (David) Brassard of Ohio, Pamela J. Grignon-Beaudoin of Clifton Park, Therese "Terri" (Michael) Dame, Harvey L. (Kathy Halikas) Gorleski, Kimberly L. Gorleski-Forchilli of Waterford and Victoria M. (Joseph) Whimple (Lupi) of Lansingburgh. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Edward, Thomas, Alfred, William, George and Francis Jourdanais, Mary Bouleris, Helen Depoian, Martha Burnash, Eva Reynolds and Cordelia Nielson. The funeral will be Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham and at 9 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Parish, 122 Vliet Boulevard, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes.
