Born in Joliet, he was a graduate of Joliet Central High School where he played in the marching band.
Kenny retired from the E.J. & E. Railroad after 35 years of service.
He founded Larson Delivery Service in 1968 which he sold to Greyhound Bus Lines in 1999.
Kenny and his family were longtime parishioners of St. Paul the Apostle Church.
His hobbies included fishing, hunting and model railroading.
Kenny was an avid Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan.
He enjoyed spending time with the grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Kay (Chizmark) Larson; two children Michael (Robin) Larson and Francine Larson; two grandchildren Katelyn and Brooke Larson; one sister Joy (Steven Scott) Irwin; one niece Linda Irwin and two nephews Steven Scott Irwin and Edward Irwin; and one cousin David Chervin.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arvid and Letha (Neece) Larson.
