Regina was born on September 19, 1933, in Henry County, Iowa, the daughter of Max Eugene and Ruby Leona Parker Woods. She was united in marriage to Harold Eugene Ackles on September 20, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, he preceded her in death on March 16, 2011. Regina was a housekeeper for the Henry County Health Center for several years. She enjoyed listening to country music.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Charles Woods and five sisters, Mary Blythe, Willa Church, Othal Woods, Shirley Stevens and Ethel Woods in infancy.
