Our beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend, Janet Cowley Hansen, age 39, died April 21, 2007 near Annabella, Utah of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
She was born November 1, 1967 in Gunnison, Utah, a daughter of Gary Allen and Colleen Barney Cowley. She graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1986. Janet married Tracy Lee Hansen, July 5, 1986 in Venice, Utah. They were later divorced.
Janet was a member of the LDS Church, where she had been a Primary Teacher in the Venice Ward. She was a cosmetologist by profession and was currently enrolled in Snow College Richfield, taking a business course. Janet enjoyed doing things with her son, Kortney.
She is survived by her son, Kortney Hansen; her parents, Gary and Colleen Cowley, all of Venice; sisters and brother: Lorelei and Kim Smith of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Kendall and Kathy Cowley of Venice; Cheryl Farnsworth of Farmington.
