Mrs. Ilene DeLoach Saxon, 59, died Saturday evening (April 21, 2007) at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness.

She was a native of Ware County and had lived most of her life in Ware County. She was a daughter to the late Donald Henry Smith and Lillie Archer Smith.

She was formerly employed with United Egg and General Office Supply in Blackshear. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

The survivors include her daughter, Julie DeLoach Johnson (husband Johnny) of Mt. Vernon; her son, Kevin DeLoach of Waycross; five grandchildren, Ella Johnson, Kate Johnson, Sam Johnson, Natalie DeLoach, and Brett DeLoach; three sisters, Gwendolyn Allison of Vero Beach, FL, Phyllis Samples (husband Allen) of Moultrie, and Libby Carter (husband Eddie) of Patterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 24, 2007) at Liberty Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Monday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock.
