Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Woods, 68, of 210 Schuh Place, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Grammier-Oberle Proctor Street Funeral home. The Rev. Emmitt Barrow, pastor of United Methodist Temple, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery in Orange.
Mrs. Woods died about 6:16 a.m. Sunday in Park Place hospital after a short illness. A native of Louisiana, she had lived in Port Arthur for 50 years. She was a member of the Methodist Temple, Chapter No. 262, Order of Eastern Star and the Woodbine Rebekah lodge.
Survivors are two daughters, Mr. Howard Peletier of Indiana and Mr. Harry Baker of Lake Panic, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. Ester Smith, Mrs. Linda Long, Mrs. Helen Schultz and Mrs. Frances Lyons, all of Orange, and Mrs. Mary Dull of Beaumont, and five grandchildren.
