J. Carlton Burrbus, 17, died Monday, Feb. 22 at his home, 29 Plan Street

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21 at ibe Lyons Brothers Chapel in Walton, with the Rev. Hugh Reed, officiating.

Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.

He was born July 24, 1893 at Walton, the son of James S. and Belle (Sanford) Burrhus. He married Evalyn Payne June 10, 1921 at Liberty. His fast residence was 29 Platt St. He was a retired foreman of the print shop of the Walton Reporter Company, He Was - member of the First Congregational Church of Walton, of - Walton Lodge 559, F&AM, a 50 Year Member of that organization, of American Legion Truman C. Tobey Post, a past Chief of Walton Fire Depart. iment, director of Delaware "Telephone Co. and vice president Wallon Cemetery Association.

Mr. Burchus is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James Kent of Walton, one sister, Miss Eugenia Burrhus of Walton and three grandsons.
