Doshia was born in, according to records, the town of Cuthbarton in Georgia....now, possibly, a ghost town since no records of it's existence are located. She married Frederick Wagner on June 2, 1895. She birthed eight children, seven from her marriage to Frederick Wagner. Her first born was Hilliard Eugene Thortnon (prominent funeral home owner and one-time mayor of Berkerley, CA.) Hilliard was followed in birth order by WAGNERS'S, Ernest Franz, Mollie Alma, Julius Edward, Silas Cranford, Bunk (NMI), Byrdie Cora, Fred Harmon and Jonnie Elizabeth. She died at her farm in Coleman County, near Cleveland and Trickham Texas, on June 16, 1939.
