Together they parented seven children, Ernest Franz, Mollie Alma, Julius Edward, Silas Cranford, Bunk, Birdie Cora, Fred Harmon, Jonnie Elizabeth and raised Hilliard Eugene Thorton, son of Doshia. Records suggests that the Wagner surname was changed from Wagoner to present Wagner after leaving Germany. Strangely, Frederick was the first name of siblings F. Ernst, F. Emil & their father, Frederick A. The second name of Richard is unknown. Could it be Frederick?
