Noted Hollywood actress who appeared in hundreds of film/TV roles, cast as regular or semi-regular in many TV series like, The Lawless Years, The Doris Day Show, My Three Sons, The Flying Nun, The Montefuscos, and Vegas, by the 1980s. Known for her diverse ethnic talents, often cast as Latin, Italian, or Jewish roles, as in the Academy Award-winning film, "The Apartment" (1960) starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine, with Stevens cast as yenta neighbor wife of 'Dr. Dreyfuss' (Jack Kruschen), who helps save MacLaine's life in the film. Stevens, a member of AFTRA before there was television, and a SAG member since 1939, Sevens was married to husband Bob Burns Jr. for nearly 70 years, until her death in 2018, at age 92.
