11 September 1975 obituary, Warren Tribune Chronicle, page 2: J. Arlie Craver, 80, 1935 E. Rancho Dr., Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Warren, died at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix. Mr. Craver was employed by Thomas Strip Division of Pittsburgh Steel Co. for 30 years, and was personnel supervisor when he retired in 1960. He was born Jan. 17, 1895, in Delightful, the son of Volney and Martha Wilcox Craver.

A Phoenix resident for 15 years, Mr. Craver was a life member of Elks Lodge 295 and Thomas Strip Division's Foremen's Club, was a member of senior Citizens of Phoenix, 300 Bowlers and American Bowlers Congress. He was a 50-year gold card holder and life member of Bricklayers Local 43. A 1913 graduate of Warren High School, he had played semi-pro baseball here. He was also a golf enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Goodard Craver, whom he married 59 years ago; two daughters Mrs. E. Juanita Lester and Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Barber both of Phoenix; a sister, Mrs. Flora Fiscus of Warren; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Crown Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
