She is survived by her son, John D. Fox, Jr. (Ann); and her daughters, Dianne Brown (Richard), Susan Richardson, Pam Casey, Tracey Woods; sisters Martha Ann Travis and Dale Farmer (Shirley); ten grandchildren and many great-grandchilden, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, John D. Fox, Sr.; her daughter, Joan Denise Fox; and her parents, Jack and Mary Opal Nichols.
A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m.until 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass immediately following the visitation on Friday, February 16, 2018, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Services are under the direction of Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home (256) 751-1806.
