Inscription
Vernell Colvard, age 92 of the Franks Creek Community of Robbinsville, passed on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at her residence. She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Blanton Hooper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Gwyn Carver in March of 1973.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Donald Colvard; sons and their wives, daughters and their husbands, and sister. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, and several great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church.
Committal Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
