Mrs. Rosetta Brown Rogers, 95, of Thomasville, Georgia, died March 14, 2018 in Woodbridge, Virginia. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Thomasville with the Rev. Jeremy G. Rich officiating.

Rosetta "Bright" Brown Rogers was born in Pavo, Georgia on December 29, 1922 to the late Charles Henry Brown and the late Lucille Brown Nelson (née Hancock). She was reared by her mother and stepfather James Nelson after her father died at an early age. She had one younger sibling the late Naomi Ruth Brown Berry.

In addition to her parents and sister, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her five children Nathaniel Rogers, Sr. Her eldest son Charles Rogers, Sr. also preceded her in death.

Morning her passing and cherishing her memory are four children, 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
