Mrs. Kelsey, the author of many books for children and a long-time member of the Congregational Church, was a 1918 graduate of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass.
She is survived by a brother, Russell M. Geer of Roanoke, Va.; a sister-in-law, Christine K. Gollick of Ithaca; a son, Paul M. Kelsey of Dryden; three daughters: Edith Kelsey Lewis of Canandaigua; Olive Kelsey Gallaher of Davenport, Iowa; Martha Kelsey Davenport of Kingston; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
