Born July 7, 1932, in Snydersburg, he was a son of Edward F. Wolbert Sr., and Genevieve Schupp Wolbert.
Mr Wolbert worked for the B & O Railroad as a line repairman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are four sons, Ronald J. Wolbert of Crown, Roger A Wolbert of Fredonia, N.Y., Jeffrey H. Wolbert of Tionesta and Duane F Wolbert of Austin, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Walter (Sharon) Sleppy of Cranberry, Bonnie J Cathcart and Mrs Jeffrey (Melanie)McLaughlin, both of Crown, Mrs. Timothy (Beverly) Thompson of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., and Mrs Scott (Jennifer)Weaver of Fredonia,Pa.; and 12 grandchildren.
He is survived by three brothers, Quinton J. Wolbert and Regis J. Wolbert, both of Snydersburg, and Dennis J. Wolbert of Redlands, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Marion) Hepfl of Clarion RD and Mrs Nicholas (Grace)Troese of Clarion; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Edward F. Wolbert Jr., Norman F. Wolbert, Earl P. Wolbert, Gerald Wolbert and Lee Wolbert, and a sister Virginia Wolbert.
The Borland Funeral Home ,Leeper, is in charge of arrangements. the family suggest that memorials be made to St. Joseph's Church Restoration Fund, Lucinda.
