WALKER, JR., CHARLES J. 55 - of Egg Harbor Township, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 8, 2007. Born in Philadelphia, he resided in the area for the past twenty-eight years. He was awarded for his courage during the Vietnam War with two Purple Hearts from the United States Army. He was known for his deep passion for music and his guitar. He also loved to spend time with family and friends. Charles is the beloved son of Charles and Alice Walker of Brigantine, and was the first born of thirteen children. He is the loving father of his children, Rochelle Walker and Matthew Walker. He will be deeply missed by his two grandchildren; twelve brothers and sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Charles' Life Celebration on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, 10 to 11 am at St. Thomas Church, 3112 Brigantine Ave., Brigantine. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Family services by Keates-Plum Funeral Home, Brigantine.
