Mrs. C. Arnold Is Dead; Service Will Be Monday
Funeral of Mrs. Catharine Arnold, wife of Charles Arnold, 29 Clinton Avenue, will be held from the home Monday at 9:30 a. m. and from St. Mary'3 Church at 10 a. m. Solemn Requiem Mass will be sung. Burial will be in Fairmount Mausoleum, Newark. Mrs. Arnold was born in Germany, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Denninger. She came to Plainfield when a young girl and had lived here
all her life. She died in Muhlenberg Hospital last night, Mar. 1, 1935, following an operation. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. Surviving are her husband, who has conducted a butcher shop in Liberty Street for many years; four sons:
Walter Arnold. 244 Hazel Street, Westfield; Edmund H. Arnold, 1248 Cameron Avenue; Louis H. Arnold, 282 Rock Avenue; and Robert B. Arnold, 654 Green Brook Road. North Plainfield; two daughters, Mrs. John J. Gaughan, Belle Rose, L. I., and Mrs. James G. Lindsay, 31 Clinton Avenue; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. William Schwiers, Mount Vernon. N. Y.. Miss Rose Denninger, 31 Clinton Avenue, and Mrs. Edward Petitbenoit, Brightwaters, L I., and a brother, Frank Denninger of Trenton.
