Mark Kainer, 18 of Merritt Island Florida, died Wednesday July 9, 1975, the result of a tragic motorcycle accident in Cocoa, FL on State Road 520. Mark had recently graduated from Merritt Island High School. He was listed in critical condition for 2 days after the accident, in Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital in Rockledge, and had not regained consciousness.
A school bus driver was charged by the Florida Highway patrol with making an improper left turn.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Ernestina Kainer of 150 Terry Place, Merritt Island FL and an infant son Noah D. Kainer, who was born after Marks death.
Mark was a very intelligent person and was planning on going to medical school at the University of Florida.
His organs were donated to help several people and his body was donated to the University of Florida for medical training and research.
