Wayne Valentine Washington, 62, of Irvine, CA, died, Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Hoag Memorial Hospital, Irvine, CA.

Born March 23, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Georgianna Valentine Washington.

Survivors include one sister, Constance Taylor; two brothers, Irving Washington (Arleen)and Alfred Washington; special great-nephew, Lance Walker (Kimberly); special niece, Tara Walker Hill (Jacob); other nieces, Regina Cannon (George), Shanique Washington and Arkeeta Washington; nephews, Jerod Washington and Ivan Washington; home health aide, Cornelia "Connie" Miller and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Lancers Washington.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 12 Noon from the Chapel of Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Washington Family Cemetery, Chatham, VA. Family visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
