G.K. BREWER DIES AT ROGERS

G.K. Brewer, of Rogers, Ky., succumbed of heart
attack at his home January 3 at the age of 65.

Mr. Brewer was born and reared in the State of
Kentucky. He was a loyal supporter of democracy
and the higher principles of moral living. He cared
little for publicity, but spent his entire life in devotion
and support of his family and interest of his community
and fellowman. He had many friends and was well
respected by the people of Wolfe and surrounding
counties. He retired one year ago from active service
with the Texas Oil Co. Employees of the oil company
were pallbearers.

Funeral service was held in the community church at
Rogers, conducted by the Rev. Ramah Johnson, of
Morehead.

He is survived by his widow, Minnie Brewer; seven
sons, Willard and Finley, of Monroe, Mich.; Dillard,
Ted, Jake and Stanley, of Birmingham, Ala., Vernon,
of Middletown, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. J.V. Armitage
and Mrs. Lee Palmer, of Middletown, Ohio; Mrs. D.L.
Adams and Evelyn, at home.

Mr. Brewer will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
