Mrs. R.M. Caraway, 85, of 3500 Park St. in Greenville, died Tuesday in her home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Lamar Baptist Church with the Reverends Jerry Byars, W.O. Majors and C.V. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Allen Ragsdale, Paul Ragsdale, J.A. Ragsdale, Pat Britt, George Britt, Bill Caraway, Bob Caraway and Harry Gibson.

Mrs. Caraway was born Jan. 15, 1886 in Hunt County to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Britt. She was married to R.M. Caraway in June, 1906 and was an active charter member of the Lamar Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Glen Caraway of Greenville, and Clyde Caraway of Sulphur Springs; one sister, Mrs. Jim Moore of Magazine, Ark.; four grandchildren, Mrs. Harry Gibson of Dallas, Bobby Caraway of Kaufman, Bill Caraway of Houston and Mrs. Miller Harwell of Albuquerque, N.M.; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in June of 1954.
Minnie Iva Britt was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Britt & Nancy Jane Moore.
She married Robert Monroe Caraway July 28, 1907 in Hunt County.
Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. R.M. Caraway, 85, of Greenville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Lamar Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Byars, the Rev. W.O. Majors and the Rev. C.V. Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville.
Mrs. Caraway died Tuesday night in Greenville.
Survivors include 2 sons, Glenn Caraway of Greenville and Clyde Caraway of Sulphur Springs; 1 sister, Mrs. Jim Moore of Magazine, Ark. and grandaughter, Mrs. Marian Gibson of Dallas; grandchildren, Bobby Caraway, Glenda Sue Caraway, William James Caraway, and 5 great grandchildren.
Coker-Matthews-Peters Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
