Catharina's parents are John Schirmer & Juliana Schreiner. At this point, I don't know when Catharina's mother, Juliana, died or where she is buried.

Catharina was baptized on 18 Oct 1857 at St. Michael Church, Cincinnati.

According to director Dan Gallagher of Gethsemani Cemetery, there was an old Catholic Cemetery that existed before Gethsemani, where people were buried in the 1800s. Between 1896 and 1902 all the interments at this original cemetery were moved to Gethsemani, including the remains of Katie Kamerer (nee Schirmer). Dan said that many of those records were lost or damaged prior to and during the move to Gethsemani. The cemetery's old (and according to Dan) limited and incomplete records show that in 1897 Katie was moved to the same area where spouse Martin and daughters Anna and Rose (Kamerer) Seery are buried today--the Kamerer family plot! The original cemetery may have been located adjacent to St. Rose Church, since it was St. Rose Church Records that were used to direct the movement of the interments from the old cemetery to the new.

Any information about Catharina or this family would be greatly appreciated.
