Catherine Mulvena Scott Marshick, 99, passed away June 5, 2017. She was born on May 22, 1918 in Alpena, Michigan to William John and Catherine (Mulvena) Scott. Catherine was married to the love of her life, Armand Marshick Jr. for many years. They were residents of Whitmore Lake for 60 years. She was a retired 5th grade teacher in Detroit. She established the Whitmore Lake Community Center and local services such as the Peoples Express and the Whitmore Lake Clinic. She will be remembered as charitable, helpful and tenacious woman.
Her Family… Catherine will be missed by her daughter, Gayle Steele; grandchildren, Joseph Steele, Dr. Erica (Dr. Philip Bomeisl, DO) Steele, DO; great grandchildren, Jared Steele, Devin Steele, Henry Bomeisl, Alexandra Bomeisl, Adian Pauley, Kinsey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Armand Scott.
Her Farewell… Catherine’s family and friends will gather Friday, June 9, 2017 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Community Farewell will be held at 2:00pm (1pm Gathering) on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Borek Jennings. Pastor Fred Hatfield will serve as celebrant.
