Kearns, UT-Lowell Stuart Davis, 83, died on March 27, 2017 in Kearns, UT. He was born on November 25, 1933 in Salt Lake City, UT. Lowell was married to Billie Jean McCarthy on December 9, 1960 and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1966. Billie Jean passed away September 11, 2007. He then married Vivian Gay Gundersen on September 22, 2008. He graduated from Cyprus High School and lettered in baseball. He continued to play baseball for many years after high school and coached little league teams for many years. He enjoyed hunting and all outdoor activities with his family. He served in the US Army from 1958 to 1961 and was honorably discharged. He was a member of the LDS Church, Kearns 10th Ward.
Lowell is survived by his wife; Vivian Gay Davis, children; Michael Branan (Marsha), Terry Branan (Paula), LuAnn Branan, foster son; Tony Jake (Freda), brother; Russ Davis (Marcia), 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Benjamin Franklin Davis and Gladys Wilkins Davis, five sisters, and five brothers.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 6-8 PM and funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road, with a viewing one hour prior.
