Bessie Conley Draughn , 89 , passed away on May 3 2017. She was born and raised in Garrett KY. She was proceeded in death by her parents Willis & Mimia Coburn Conley, Brothers Clyde, Haden (Lucille) and Hollie (Minnie) Conley and Sisters Sally (Victor) Scherrer, Inez (Marow)Cox and Edna (George) Everidge.
She is survived by her husband Homer and Son Willis C. (Shirley) Draughn, Grandaughter Amanda N. Draughn.
Bessie taught school in Garrett, Island Creek, Prestonsburg, Ashland and Cole Grove Ohio. She graduated from Alice Lloyd College and UK. She received her Masters from EKU. Homer and Bessie were married for 64 years.
