By deed dated 14 Aug 1767 Abraham bought of Henry Hageman 178 acres, 53 perches of land lying mostly in Bedminster Twp. But partly in Plumstead Twp. His sister Catharine willed him her land on payment of 109 lbs, & to his death to his heirs.
His Will dated 29 Apr 1815 probated on 8 Apr 1823 devised to his wife Annah 1 cow, 1 bed, 1 stove, 1 kitchen dresser, & garden, the liberty of his house, room & Kitchen. Also 50 lbs & 1/3 of his estate during her natural life. Then to be sold & proceeds divided among his children. His wife was also to have 6 bushels of good rye and 5 bushels of wheat yearly. His real estate was divided to his sons Philip, Henry, John, & Jacob by paying 12 lbs per acre @ the rate of 100 lbs ea. year to be valid & divided by them. Legacies were also given to his son Abraham, & daughter Magdalene (wife of Jacob Heavener) & Anna.
