Carol attended Jamaica HS, Syracuse Univ. (BS), Adelphi Univ. (MS), and Dowling Coll. (MEd).
She taught for 33 years in the Hauppauge School District. Carol was Vice Pres. of the HTA, where she was known as the "roadrunner" for her tireless efforts on behalf of her fellow faculty. She was recognized too for her cooking, her beautiful gardens and her radiant presence.
Since Carol donated her remains to a Philadelphia medical school, a funeral was not held.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
