Mrs. Alice Gregory Tropiano, 87, of 97 Wood Street, Oakland Beach, R.I., died last Thursday at her home.
Born in Patchogue, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine White Gregory. She was the widow of John Tropiano and had been a resident of Rhode Island for the past 40 years. Mr. and Mrs. Tropiano had toured all of Long Island with their carnivals, known as the original Long Island Carnival Company.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Rosary services were held at 8 p.m. Sunday at Ruland's Funeral Home, Patchogue. Interment was in the family plot at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery, Patchogue.
