Doug Forsyth, 44, died Sunday morning, January 28, 2007 at Home Hospice House.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2007 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Doug was born May 21, 1962 in Lovington, NM to Bill and Sue Tiner Forsyth. He was reared and educated in various oilfield communities from North Dakota to Texas. He worked as a lathe operator in Pearland, Texas and later became a truck driver. He retired due to health concerns in the summer of 2006. He is preceded in death by his father Bill Forsyth he died December 24, 2006.
He is survived by his mother Sue Forsyth of Odessa, two sons Curtis and Josh Forsyth. His sister Tonya Moore and husband Cyil and his nephew Eric Moore of Roy, Utah. His aunt, Nell Moore of Odessa; uncles Sherman Forsyth and wife Hazel of Pearland, TX; Ray Tiner his wife Yohana of Hobbs, NM; Bobby Tiner and his wife Edie of Austin, TX; and several cousins.
