MINERAL WELLS - Connie B. Graves, 94, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at her residence.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial: Rock Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Graves was born June 25, 1907, in Peaster, Texas, the daughter of Thomas M. and Orrie Dodson Blackerby. She lived in Mineral Wells the last 14 years and had been a cook at the famed Baker Hotel.
Survivors: Sons, V. L. "Bill" Jr. and Franklin Graves; daughter, Ora Jane Hamilton; son-in-law, Aven Hearne; sister, Lessie Garvin; sister-in-law, Clytus Blackerby; five grandsons; four granddaughters; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends, including special friend Marjorie Keis.
