HARGIS ADAMS, age 100, of Franklin, Ohio, died Monday January 2, 2017 at Franklin Ridge Nursing Home. He was born in Caney, Kentucky on August 18, 1916 to Jeff and Rissie (Stacey) Adams. He was employed with Allied Chemical for 30 + years as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Virginia Ruth, and a daughter, Naomi Ferguson. Hargis is survived by three sons, David (Mary) Adams, Hargis Jeffrey Adams, and Lindsay Roger (Treva) Adams; two daughters, Dortha Lenore (David) Douglass and Ruth Ann (Bill) White; 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
