Opal Bobbitt age 83 of Eads, TN, formerly of Ramer, TN was born June 16, 1933 in Adamsville, TN the daughter of the late Roy Harvey and Trudie Garrison Norwood. She was a member of the Fisherville Baptist Church in Eads, TN and was retired from Kroger after 28 years of service. She departed this life on December 31, 2016 in Collierville, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 6 Months, 15 Days.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Liles and husband Robert of Rossville, TN, Melissa Hayes and husband Clay of Collierville, TN; a sister, Billie Young and husband Roy of Eads, TN; two brothers, James Norwood, Jerry Norwood and wife Margie all of Ramer, TN; seven grandchildren: Lori Hill, Michael Smith, Tracie Wade, Bobby Liles, Chelsea Bobbitt, Haley Hayes and Zoe Barham; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bobbitt was preceded in death by a grandson, Paul Christopher Smith.

Visitation will br held on Wed, January 4, 2017 from 12 pm until services at 1 pm all held at Fisherville Baptist Church in Eads, TN, with Jack Moore officiating.
