Margaret Hill, age 75, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas. Born in Hardy, Arkansas, on November 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Bessie Ann Gladys (Shaw) Hightower. Mrs. Hill had been a resident of Cleburne, Texas, for the past five years. Prior to that, she had lived for ten years at Salado, Arkansas, and was a resident of Wilburn, Arkansas, for most of her life. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, making quilts, and reading the Bible. Mrs. Hill also enjoyed collecting newspaper clippings of family and friends for her scrapbooks. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Batesville. Her husband, Buel Hill, preceded her in death on August 2, 1986. Mrs. Hill was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister, who were buried at Saddle, Arkansas, and by two sisters, Vivian Lackey and Anita Wougamon, who were buried at Magness Cemetery. She is survived by five sons, Gary Hill and his wife, Terrie, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Gerald Hill and his wife, Candace, of Pangburn, Arkansas, Raymond Hill of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, Steven Hill and his wife, Carol, of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, and Chris Hill and his wife, Joyce, of Floral, Arkansas; four daughters, Judy Bell and her husband, Rex, of Cleburne, Texas, Peggy Phillips and her husband, Vernon, of Drasco, Arkansas, Geraldine Acree of Drasco, Arkansas, and Mary Hillis of Texas; sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hill is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, at 2:00 P.M. in the Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Roger Harlan and Pastor Laurie Dewitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Magness Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Henderson, Garry Lynn Sutherland, Jason Wayne Hill, Carl Hill, Joe Mathews, Jim Thurman, Brian Boldin, and Gary Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Ray Hill, Lynn Branscum, Toby Hill, Donnie Little, and Tim Lamb. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
