"Vic" Don Williams of Heber Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Black Oak, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 29, 2005, at his home. Born April 12, 1949, at Monette, Arkansas, to the late Jack and Pauline (Bass) Williams, he was 56 years of age. Vic had lived in Heber Springs for the last 40 years where he was a neon sign maker. He was a Christian, a Navy veteran of 7 years, having served in Vietnam, and a member of the VFW. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Williams; a brother, Dearl Williams, and a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Noble. He is survived by his wife, Alanna (Huckaba) Williams, three sons, Donnie Williams of Boswell, OK, Jessie Williams of Memphis, TN, and Sam Noble of Heber Springs,two daughters, Leslie Price of Mt. Ida, AR, and Tonya Williams of Pangburn, AR one brother, Jack Williams of Heber Springs, AR; nine grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 1, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Pastor Odell Altom officiating. Interment will be at Henderson Cemetery.
