Arlton Parish of Rose Bud, Arkansas, son of the late Leroy and Mary Parish, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2005 at his home. Born December 8, 1918 at Sulphur Rock, Arkansas, he was 86 years of age.Arlton was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church and was a farmer.Arlton is survived byhis wife, Carol Parish of Rose Bud, Arkansas; one son, Ron Parish of Visalia, California; two daughters, Phillis Brandt of Drasco, Arkansas, and Eva Bradford of Kingsburg, California; one sister, Cloe Handcock of Rose Bud, Arkansas; one brother, Jake Parish of Hot Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 22, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at South Cross Roads Church at 2:00 p.m. withRev. Mark Bishop officiating. Interment will follow at South Cross Roads Cemetery withJeff Parish, Floyd Cummins, Lee Gene Lester, Luke Bishop, Gary Parish, and David Hoss serving as pallbearers. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Heber Springs.
