On Wednesday, July 30, 2014 of Bethesda and St. Michaels, MD. Loving husband of Rita W. Devine; father of Caroline M. Devine, James T. Devine Jr.(wife Kathryn), John J. Devine (wife Joanna), Rita W. Devine (husband John Hollingsworth), Patrick J. Devine(wife Patricia) and the late Joseph A. Devine. Grandfather of Annie Sickmen, Kathryn Lourenco, Wolfgang Devine, Emma Devine, Declan Devine, Ambrose Devine, Carter Ward, Rebecca Ward, Patrick Devine II, James Devine, Sarah Devine and John Devine. Mr. Devine is also survived by his great-grandson, Seamus Sickmen and by his sisters, Mary Kennedy Peretti and Ellen McKenney Fahey. Mr. Devine is also predeceased by his wife Caroline Driscoll Devine who died in 1955. Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Montgomery Avenue (Rte. 28, exit 6-A just off I-270), Rockville, MD on Friday, August 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Drive, Potomac, MD on Saturday, August 16 at 11 a.m. Interment private.
