HOLD SERVICES FOR MRS. FLORENCE OVEREND
Florence Overend was born at Dwight, Illinois in May, 1882 to Louis and Margaret McGonigal Trennell. She was married to Henry Maurice Overend in Kalispell, January 23, 1922.
While they traveled much because of Mrs. Overend’s illness, they looked upon Kalispell as their home and had passed the last few months at their cottage on the shore of Lake McDonald.
Mrs. Overend, before her marriage, was a nurse and it is believed her illness was contracted from a patient. She was a member of the Eastern Star and White Shrine of Great Falls.
Besides her husband, she leaves her mother, Mrs. Margaret Trunell of Chicago; a son, Howard of Detroit; and three sisters Mrs. Dwight (Louise) Harris of Chicago, Mrs. Arthur F. (Frances Kee) Haise of Philadelphia and Mrs. Herbert (Mabel) Prior of Hollywood, California.
