Oscar was born on JUne 11, 1912 in Cassville , the son of John & Christine (Mumm) Lindner. Oscar married Esther Hochhausen on Feb. 8, 1932. They farmed together in the Cassville area until 1962 when they moved & continued to farm in the Linden area. Survivors include his wife, Esther of rural Linden; five daughters, Mrs. Ed (Sal) Kitelinger of Livingston, Mrs. Robert (Diane) Albee of Kenosha, Mrs. Harold (Pat) Addison of Kenosha, Mrs. Fred (Linda) Skaife of Livingston, & Mrs. Bruce (Mary) Coyier of Mineral Point; four sons, Jack (Abby) of Sumner, Iowa, Don (Kathy) of Linden, Dick (Ellen) of Linden & Larry (Lisa) of Darlington; 39 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; & one sister, Mrs. Vincent (Edith) Bausch of rural Cassville. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Oscar Lindner Jr. in 1985, one daughter, Mary in infancy, & one granddaughter, Vickie in 1968. Funeral services were held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort on May 14, with burial in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery of Cassville.
