The last religious rites for Nelcena "Muffin" Jenkins will be held Saturday, January 14, 2006, 1:00 PM at Canaan United Methodist Church, Ridgeville (Givhans Section), SC, Rev. James C. Lane, Pastor.

Interment Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Blessings come in all different shapes and sizes and on August 25, 1980, in Jacksonville, Florida, Kathy and Leonard Jenkins were blessed with a baby girl, Nelcena Lynn Jenkins.

She attended Summerville High School where she graduated in 1999.

She enjoyed many things like putting a smile on every ones face, but most of all she loved life.

She was preceded in death by one nephew, Dominique James. In April 2005, Nelcena decided to join Canaan United Methodist Church in Ridgeville, South Carolina.Cause of Death: Single gunshot to the back of the head.
